This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The breakfast options are surprisingly tasty, catering to all tastes, and with it being included in the price, it's an added bonus.

Tha location is very good, just 5 minute walk from the old town and market (open on Thursdays). 15 minute walk from the beach. Value for money.

Well, those can be expected from 3* hotel. Small room, view to a narrow street and the windows opposite :)). Very small pool, not the one to swim in, would be OK for children though.

I found staff very friendly and helpful, room was fully cleaned every day and we were only few minutes away from the city center, the shops and the bus station. We did not use any transport as long as we were in the city of Rethymno.

We stayed one night in a room at the back of the hotel where we had no view and had some problems with the shower. That room was rather disappointing but Liberty Hotel moved us to another, more expensive room (it was in the front) as soon as possible without paying extra money. Also, I think breakfast could be a little better.

I warned about the hotel cancellation for 3 months, but the hotel still took the money from my credit card for the entire period of stay (!) Very bad.

The other thing is that the street noise can be heard from the rooms that face the street, but it's not too bad.
